At Claude to PDF Exporter, we believe that your AI conversations are private and should stay that way. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our Chrome Extension.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account or use our services, we may collect the following information:
Chat Content: To generate a high-fidelity PDF, the extension sends the selected chat HTML to our secure server.
Technical Logs: We may collect anonymous, non-identifying technical data (e.g., browser version, error logs) to improve the performance and reliability of the extension.
2. How We Process Your Data (Zero-Retention Policy)
Our core philosophy is "Process, Don't Store."
Ephemeral Processing: Your chat content is sent to our server solely for the purpose of rendering it into a professional PDF format.
Instant Deletion: Once the PDF is generated and your download starts, the content is immediately and permanently deleted from our servers. We do not archive, mine, or analyze your conversations.
No Data Sharing: We do not sell or share your chat content with any third parties.
3. Accounts & Subscriptions
When you create an account or subscribe, we collect:
Account Information: Email address and login credentials to manage your subscription.
Payment Data: All payments are processed through secure, third-party providers (PayPal). We do not store your payment information on our servers.
Usage Metrics: Basic data to manage subscription limits or premium feature access.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information during transmission. All data sent between the extension and our rendering server is encrypted via SSL/TLS.
5. Third-Party Services
Our extension interacts with Claude.ai to function. Please note that your use of Claude is governed by Anthropic's own privacy policy. Our extension only accesses the data you explicitly choose to export.
Google OAuth: If you choose to sign in with Google, your basic profile information (name and email address) is shared with us by Google. Your use of Google sign-in is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
PayPal: Subscription payments are processed by PayPal. When you subscribe, you are subject to PayPal's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your full payment details.
Resend: We use Resend to send account-related emails such as email verification and subscription confirmations. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for this purpose.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location (such as California or the EEA), you may have rights regarding your data. Since we do not store chat histories, there is no conversation data for us to provide or delete upon request. For account data, you may contact us to request export or deletion.

We may update this policy as we add new features. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
